Harold Smith began serving as interim pastor in April of 2023. He grew up in Greenwood, AR and has lived in Kibler, AR since he married in 1995. He and his wife Missy have two adult children. Bro Harold has pastored churches in Arkansas and Oklahoma since 2006. He spent 14 years of his ministry as pastor of Lee Creek Baptist in Van Buren. In addition to pastoring he also has a ministry of encouraging preachers and revitalizing churches. His preaching style is a mixture of topical messages and expositions through the books of the Bible. Outside of the ministry Bro Harold enjoys gardening, hunting, fishing, and cooking the stuff that comes along those hobbies. He is the host of the Backwoods Baptist Podcast where he shares practical insights for the issues facing churches today.
